How do vulnerable people access justice and alternative dispute resolution?
Just Energy, a research project funded by the ESRC, has investigated how vulnerable people, and people affected by energy poverty, access justice and alternative dispute resolution in the UK, Italy, France, Bulgaria and Spain (Catalonia). This event marks the end of the research project, the launch of our book Access to Justice for Vulnerable and Energy-Poor Consumers – Just Energy? and the toolkit we have prepared to transfer the learning acquired over the course of the past four years.
The book assembles the findings of an interdisciplinary research project studying access to justice and its barriers. In-depth interviews with regulators, ombuds, energy companies, third-sector organisations and vulnerable people provide a rich dataset through which to understand the phenomenon.
Register here to join us on September 9, 2021 at 12:30 BST.
